Helping Out - Some time ago, Durham's AHEPA Chapter 277 connected with the Urban Ministries of Durham - dedicated people who run a sizeable shelter and kitchen for the temporarily homeless. On the evening of September 14, about a dozen of our AHEPA brothers cooked and served a complete meal for the largest number of people in the shelter - almost the max - about 250 plates! Attached are three pictures, showing our brothers in the kitchen and on both ends of the food line. Needless to say, comments regarding the quality and quantity of the food were invariably positive
AHEPA GLENDI - On Saturday, October 15, brothers of our Durham Chapter 277 enjoyed the traditional fall AHEPA GLENDI. The evening started a delicious dinner, prepared by our brothers skilled in the culinary arts, featured a group of folklore dancers - who are students in area universities, and continued with Greek and American dancing with music by our own DJ brother Socratis
